Jacob Elisha Myers parents were Joseph Abraham Myers and Ada Catherine Myers (maiden name Butts). He married Bertha B. Gordon who was born in 1879 Her parents were Stephen and Sarah (Wasson) Gordon. Jake and Bertha had one child who died an infant. They also raised two foster children, Dutch and Joe. No one knows what became of Dutch or Joe but they may haved moved to California. Jake died in 1952 and Bertha died in 1966. They are buried side by side at the Tuscarora Presbyterian Church.
