Funeral service for Nona Dee Wilson, of Chelsea, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Assembly of God Church, with Revs. Allen Dunn and Jerry Coldren officiating. Burial will follow in Chelsea Cemetery under the direction of Chelsea Funeral Home and Crematory.
Nona was born September 12, 1946 in Temple, TX to Fred and Ruth (Mizer) Connell. She passed away Monday, November 28, 2005 at the Claremore Indian Hospital at the age of 59.
Nona attended Chelsea schools and later became a nurses' aide. She enjoyed working, playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren, and making trips to Branson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Connell, and her son, Mike Wilson.
Surviving family members are parents, Ralph and Ruth Most of Chelsea, son: Mark and wife Debbie Wilson and their son Tyler Wilson of Claremore, daughter, Vicki and husband Jack Schaefer and children: Alyssa, Sarah, and Donovan Schafer of Collinsville, brothers: Rodger and wife Anna Most of Chelsea, Larry Connell and wife Susan of Georgetown, TX, and Stephen Connell of Austin, TX, sisters: Sue Bratton and husband Lynn, and Sherry Connell, both of Brownwood, TX, and many friends.
