Mary B. Cantrell, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009.

Mary was born on February 8, 1916 to the late James L. and Cora Hazel.

Mary lived most of her life in Bloomington, IN having resided the past nineteen years at Crestwood Village South in Indianapolis.

She was a graduate of Smithville High School.

She retired from Kresge's Dollar Store in Bloomington, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Mary was a very accomplished seamstress, and quilter.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jeanette (Dan) Patrick; grandchildren, Jeffrey Patrick, Jennifer (Pat) Bournique; great grandchildren, Bradley, Chris and Evan Patrick; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Cantrell;, daughter, Bernadine Sue Cantrell; and brothers, Wayne A., Lawrence J. and William Joseph Hazel.

Local Arrangements have been entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue. However, Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2009, at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 South Old Hwy 37, Bloomington, IN. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Allen Funeral Home.

Mary will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.
