Carl F. Cantrell, 81, of Bloomington, died Wednesday evening at Bloomington Hospital.
Born Jan 31, 1908 in Monroe County. He was the son of Harry Cantrell and Etta (McGlothlin) Cantrell Litz. He was a truck driver for john R. East Co. for 36 years. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Hazel) Contrell, to whom he had been married for 52 years; one daughter, Jeanette Patrick of Indianapolis; one brother, Elmer Litz of Bloomington; two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Bernadine Cantrell.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Day Mortuary with the Rev. Russell Quackenbush officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Day Mortuary.
