E. T. Stinnett

Edward Taliaferro Stinnett, 65, died Thursday morning, August 11, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. R. Mays, Amherst, after a long illness. He was the son of the late William H. Stinnett and Mrs. Lucy Wright Stinnett. He was born and reared at Sandidges.

He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Elwood Campbell, Fredericksburg; Mrs. Stanley Lugea, Washington; Mrs. Howard Burley and Mrs. Claude Mays, Amherst; E. T. Stinnett, Jr., Sealstan; Norman A. Stinnett, Amherst. Six sisters and four brothers also survive.

Funeral services were held at the Amherst Methodist Church with burial

Pallbearers were Lucien Stinnett, Auburn Stinnett, Burton Stinnett, Howard Stinnett, Litt Stinnett and J. Talley Wright.
