Harry Hinshaw was never married and had no descendants. His mother, Rachel Outland Mills Hinshaw, died when he was a small boy. Harry was a half brother of Flora Adell Mills Prowell. Flora & Harry corresponded and talked on a regular basis until Flora's death in 1961. He settled in Halstead to be near his half brother, Nathan Lindsey Hinshaw. Nathan & Harry had the same father, Tilnias "Til" Hinshaw.
