Obituary:
William May, 78, formerly of Zanesville, died at 1:13 p.m. Sunday at the home of his son, Glenn D. May, 4102 Reed street, following a stroke of paralysis suffered last Tuesday. He was born November 19, 1856, at Van Buren, O. He came to Indiana to live when a young man and resided at Zanesville until a year age.
Surviving are two sons, Glenn, at whose home he died, and Forest May of Waynedale; two brothers, Peter of Van Buren, O., and Charles May of PIttsburgh, Kansas.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Elzey & Sons' funeral home at Ossian. It will be taken to the Forest May home at Waynedale today. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. (DST) at the Zanesville U.B. church with Rev. Thorn officiating. Burial at Zanesville.
