Dallastown-Lester C. Ehrhart, 77, husband of Margaret P. Eberly ehrhart died Thursday at his home, following a lengthy illness.
A son of the late Adam and Mary McDowell Ehrhart, he was born near Dallastown, and belonged to St. Paul's United Church of Christ. He retired in 1962 after completing 45 yers employment with American Chain and Cable Co., York, where he wasw a tire chain department foreman. He ws a life member of Rescue Fire Co.
surviving also are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Black, Jr. two grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters; Mrs. Laura Sechrist, William I. Ehrhart, Grace Leber, Lavere S. Ehrhart, Llewellyn M. Ehrhart, Rev. Eldon Ehrhart, Ilingerstown and Clair E. Ehrhart.
His minister, Rev Jack Rhen will officiate at the Eberly Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery.
