Louse Brostrom, an old resident of Dunnville, died at her home at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the age of 82 years, 9 months, 18 days.
Louisa Dahlberg was born in Sweden in 1839. She was united in marriage in 1859 in Sweden to Nickolas Brostrom. In the fall of 1885 they came to this country and settled in Dunnville, which has always been her home. In 1902 her husband preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her loss eight children; Edward of Anacortes, Washington; Mrs. Jerry La Fluer of Anacortes, Washington; Mrs. August Johnson of Eau Claire; Mrs. August Peterson, Mrs. Charles Fagerlind, Mrs. Gustave Fagerlind and Charles Brostrom all of Dunnville. One daughter died in infancy and one son, John, of Anacortes, Washington, died in 1918. Fifty-six grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at the Dunnville Church, Rev. W. H. Thompson officiating.
Interment was made in the Downsville Cemetery.
