Sarah Brostrom Fagerlind was born in Vennisburg, Sweden, March 18, 1865 and came to this country in June 1885. She settled in Dunnville, Dunn County, where she made her home until her death.
She was married to Gust Fagerlind June 29, 1889 and to this union were born 12 children, Mrs. John Larson of the state of Washington, Conrad Fagerlind of Waterloo, Iowa, Mrs. James Dole, Mrs. James Johnston and Mrs. Ben Johnson of Eau Claire, Clarence, Mayme, Susie and Myrtle at home, and Fred, Arthur and Elmer, deceased.
Those left to mourn her loss are her husband and eight children; 20 grandchildren; and five sisters and one brother, Mrs. August Peterson and Mrs. Richard Peterson of Downsville and Mrs. Richard Peterson of Downsville, Mrs. August Johnson of Eau Claire, Mrs. Charles Fagerlind of Waterloo, Iowa, Mrs. Jerry La Fleur of Marblemount, Washington and Ed Brostrom of Seattle, Washington.
