Donald was the son of Francis Hubert and Irene Louise Winterrowd Baker. He was born in Mattoon, Illinois on Decebmer 31, 1942. He had one younger sister, Alice Louise, born in 1947.
On December 17, 2000, Donald passed away due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He was survived by his three children, Tonya, Bradley and Kristine.
Donald was cremated and his ashes were given to his parents. When his father passed away, his mother put Donald's ashes in his father's casket. So he lies at rest with his father in the same plot number.
