George M. Stahl, a civil war veteran, died at the house of his son, T. B. Stahl, at 4:30 o'clock this morning of blood poisoning and gangrene, aged 75 years. He was a soldier in Company C, 207th Pa. Vol. Inf.
He is survived by three sons, Thomas, Frank and Grant Stahl, and three daughters, Mrs. Bradley Herr of Monument, Mrs. Ed. Clark of Beech Creek and Miss Flora Stahl in Illinois.
The funeral will occur on Friday from the home of his son Thomas Stahl at 16 South Jones street. Rev. Kloop of the Reformed church will conduct the services. Interment at Cedar Hill.
