Otis I.D. Manis
Otis I.D. Manis, 78, formerly of White Pine, died at Geauga County Regional Hospital in Ohio from heart complications on February 20, 2007.
He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from General Motors in Cleveland after 30 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah (Ford) Manis; parents, Jeffrey and Blanche Lawson Manis; and siblings, Lorraine, Jonnie, and Helen.
Otis is survived by his children, Otis Jr. (Dianne) and Johnny Manis; grandchildren, Gregory (Michelle), Jeffrey (Lisa), Carrie, Joshua, Amy (Michael) Kunz, Nicole and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Sarah, Ryan, Aaron, Alison, Michael, and Riley; sister, Alma Hurd, and brothers, Charles and Everett.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 25, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with service at 3:00 p.m. at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Bro. John Bugg officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
