The death of Isaac Milstead; occurred at his home on Watt Ave., at ten o'clock, Saturday morning, December 28, 1916. The deceased was eighty-eight years of age. He has been an invalid for three years, and had been confined to his bed for the past sixteen weeks. He was a kind, loving husband and neighbor. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Eliza Milstead, seventy-five years old. They were quite a comfort to each other in their declining years. He served his country's flag for three years, eleven months and three days, in the 17th Ohio Co., the dear old comrades are passing one by one to serve another country in the Great Beyond.
Funeral services were held at their home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. D.C. Whitmarsh, of the Presbyterian Church. Remains were interred in Greenmont Cemetery.
