Henry London, Jr., was the son of Henry London, Sr., and Mary Elam, who were married in Mecklenburg Co., VA. Henry and Mary moved to Rutherford Co., NC, and lived in the part of the county that became Cleveland Co. Henry, Jr., married Sarah Poston. After their marriage, they lived in Murray Co., GA; Polk Co., TN; Bradley Co., TN; and finally Catoosa Co., GA, where they died and are buried. After Sarah died, Henry married Josephine Bridges.
