She was born in the Hanson community in Oklahoma and was the daughter of Claude Butcher and Ada (Billingsly) Butcher. She was married to Herman Jasper Rogers, Sr. on October 29, 1929 in Gans, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1990 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and member of Gans Assembly of God Church. Survivors include daughters Patsy Riedel, Phyllis Stephenson and Donna Hall; sons Herman, Jr., Carroll Lee, Bobby, Jerry, Dwight and Ronnie Rogers; 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Flossie McGehee and a brother, Loyd Butcher. Services will be Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009 at 10 am at Gans Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Harold McKeehen and Mr. Dennis Hall officiating. Burial will be at Gans Cemetery.
