Born January 8, 1901 in Castle Dale, Utah, a daughter of William Rudolphus and Martha Ann Patterson Bennett. She married John Major Reese, April 4, 1921. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died December 16, 1976. She married William Arvel Bell, September 4, 1979. He died June 15, 1984.
She was an active member of the Ogden 14th Ward for 54 years, where she served in many capacities. She was also active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Veterans Auxiliaries and civic organizations.
She is survived by two sons, two daughters, Ray and Marge Ogden, of Roy; Jack and Lila Rae Reese, of Mesa, Arizona; Robert D. (Val) and Gerrie Bennett, of Bountiful; William and JoAnn Reese, of South Ogden; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, one grandson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 11 a.m. at Leavitt's Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 836-36th Street, Ogden, with Bishop DeVere Bell officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
