After an illness of ten days, with pneumonia, Mr. H. M. Hargett died yesterday afternoon at his home at 906 East Ninth street. He was 72 years old and is survived by three sons, Policeman J. L. Hargett being one of them. Mr. Hargettwas a Confederate veteran, having served through the whole war with honor.
The funeral will be held at the residence this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and will be attended by the Mecklenbur Camp of Confederate Veterans, who are requested to meet at their hall this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
