Elizabeth Hamilton Ison, age 89, died of lobar pneumonia at 6 p.m. on Jan. 14, 1929, at her Green Twp home in Scioto Co., Ohio. She was the widow of William Ison, whom she married abt 1857 in KY. Elizabeth Hamilton was born Dec 25, 1839 in Morgan Co., KY, a daughter of Benjamin Hamilton and Elizabeth "Betsy" Nickell/Nichols. She was the mother of at least 11 children. Services were held Jan 16th, interment made in Junior Furnace Cemetery.
