Mr. M. D. Turner of Danville, Va., received yesterday morning by wire the sad news of the death of this oldest brother, Mr. J. W. Turner of Norfolk, formerly of Henry County, Va.
Mr. Turner has been in declining health for some time and the news was not unexpected.
The funeral will take place Saturday evening at the family burying ground at Camp Branch Church, at 3 o'clock.
