Thomas A. Ennis
Thomas A. Ennis, well-known resident of Gentry, died at his home here Tuesday morning, March 30, 1948, following an illness of several months. Mr. Ennis was 73 years of age. He was born in Crawford County, Ark., and moved to this community at an early age.
Besides the widow, Mrs. Martha Ennis, he is survived by four sons, T. W. Ennis of Ceres, Calif., J. O. Ennis of Stockton, Calif., J. W. and Henry Ennis of Gentry; three daughters, Mrs. Fannie Sullivan of Medford, Ore., Mrs. Pearl Douthit of Bentonville, and Miss Essie Ennis of the home. Six sisters, three brothers, 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Assembly of God Church with the pastor, Rev. Ira Ballenger, officiating. Burial will be in the Springtown Cemetery under direction of the Wasson Funeral service of Gentry.
