A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 4, 2 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Landreth was born June 20, 1925, in Spray, N.C., to the late Willie and Ellen Clemons Landreth.
He was a World War II U.S. Marine veteran and was retired from DuPont in Martinsville.
Surviving are his wife, Joy Mae Neil Landreth of the home; daughter, Justine L. Gibson and husband, Frankie of Pelham, N.C.; sons: Jimmy Landreth, Johnny Landreth, and Joe William Landreth and wife, Kathy, all of Eden, N.C.; step-son, James Hankins and wife, Cindy of Brosville; one grandson; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; three step-grandsons; step-sisters: Mary Hazelwood of Eden, N.C. and Elizabeth Bullins of King, N.C.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Landreth; brothers: Herbert and Walter Landreth; and a sister, Frances Kirkpatrick.
The family received friends Saturday evening, 7-9 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.
