Darrel Edmund Udy
GARLAND-Darrel Edmund Udy, 77, died Tuesday, December 13,1994 at his home in Garland.

Darrel was born 4,1917, in Riverside, Utah, a son of Edmund and Mary Buxton Udy. He married lone Watt on May 21, 1940, in the Logan LDS Temple. He attended Bear River High School.
After their marriage they lived in Fielding where he farmed for Potter Brothers and then moved to Midvale where Darrel worked at Bingham Copper mines and Remington Arms. They returned to the Box Elder Valley Valley and Darrel started his business in Bothwell. The dairy was later moved to Garland where Darrel and lone lived the remainder of his life.

He was a member of the LDS Church and an Elder in the Garland 2nd Ward.

Darrel was a warm and loving person who will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity towards others. He had a warm sense of humor and was always lovingly teasing everyone. His grandchildren were his greatest joy, as were his dear wife and children.

Surviving are his wife of Garland, two sons and two daughters. Farrell and Margaret Ann Udy, Garland; Neal and Charlene Udy, Fielding; Steven and Rae Ann Porritt, Tremonton; Bryce and Lora Lee Hunsaker, Vanderhoof, B.C., Canada; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. One sister, Cleo (Pete) Forsberg, three brothers, Verl T. Udy, Oleen F. and Ray V. Udy.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 16, at the Garland Utah Stake Tabernacle, 140 W. Factory,with Bishop William L Rose, officiating. Funeral arrangements were made by Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, Ill N. 100 E., Tremonton. Interment was in the Garland Cemetery.
