Mr. Huff was born in Grant county and had lived on the farm where his death occurred for twenty years, having moved there from Van Buren. For many years he had operated a threshing machine.
He was one of a family of eleven children and was the third to die.
Surviving him are the widow, formerly Ellen Love, and five children, Ned, Hartford City; Mrs. Henry Jones, near Roll; Mrs. Robert Lambert, Columbus; Mrs. Weir Shafer east of Van Buren; Chester, at home.
Brothers and sisters are Charles, Hiram, John, Homer, all of Landisville; Mrs. A. W. Sala, Roll; Mrs. Henry Loser, Van Buren; Mrs. Noah Pence, Landisville; Mrs. Etta Cronin, Hartford City.
He was a member of the Van Buren Christian church. Fraternally he was a Maccabee.
A daughter, Mrs. Henry Jones, was critically ill Thursday night from a heart attack.
