Jacob D. File of near Millersburg, died at his home a short distance of that village, December 2, 1909, aged 62 years, 7 months 10 days. Mr. File Was born
and raised and spent all his life on the farm where he died. He was born April 23, 1847. On April 5, 1871 He married Jane Speaker and to them were born ten
children, eight of whom with the widow survive. They are Mrs. Henry Seiver, Mrs.
Randolph Beck, Mrs. Emil Pfister and Martha Lena, Will, James and Fred File, all of whom live in this county. Two brothers, William File of Sorento and George
H. File of Greenville also survive, as do 19 grandchildren. Burial was near
Millersburg.
