BLUFFTON--Mildred G. Brown, 77, Bluffton, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Caylor-Nickel Clinic, Bluffton, of heart failure.
Mrs. Brown was a member of First Baptist Church, Bluffton.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Jason (Maxine) Moser, Wren, Ohio, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Schnitz, Decatur, Mrs. Donald (Bertha Jean) Malson, Fort Wayne, Mrs. Scott (Doris) Alexander, Franklin, Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Higgins, Richardson, Texas, and Mrs. Phillip (Judith) Hoopingarner, Florsissant, Mo.; four sons, Robert L. Brown, Marion, Marvin L. Brown, Valparaiso, Carl E. Brown, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Larry W. Brown, Greenfield; a sister, Mrs. Lewis (Geraldine) Green, Van Buren; one brother, Garl Beal, Marion; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church, 22 W. Cherry St., Bluffton, with the Rev. Donald Crellin officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
Friends may call anytime today at the Thoma-Rich Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., Bluffton.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bluffton.
She was born Sept. 4, 1901, in Huntington County to Hayes and Cora Rittenhouse Beal. Her marriage was Feb. 14, 1919, to Mahlon Brown, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Robert Brown, Marion; Marvin Brown, Valparaiso; Carrol Brown, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Larry Brown, Greenfield; six daughters, Mrs. Jason Moser, Wren; Mrs. Richard Schnitz, Decatur; Mrs. Donald Nelson, Fort Wayne; Mrs. Scott Alexander, Franklin; Mrs. Jerry Higgins, Richardson, Texas; and Mrs. Phillip Hoopingardner, Florissant, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Lewis Green, Van Buren; and a brother, Carl Beal, Marion.
Friends may call at the Thoma Rich Funeral Home, Bluffton, after 7 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Bluffton, with Rev. Donald Crellin officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery.

In failing health for four years, Mrs. Mahlon D. (Mildred G.) Brown, 77, of 316 South Wayne St., died of heart failure at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Clinic Hospital, where she had been a patient for three weeks.
Born Sept. 4, 1901 in Huntington County, she was a daughter of Hayes and Cora Rittenhouse Beal. Her marriage to Mahlon D. Brown, who died March 29, 1970, took place Feb. 14, 1919 in Warren.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluffton.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Jason (Maxine) Moser of Wren, O., Mrs. Richard (Helen) Schnitz of Decatur, Mrs. Donald (Bertha Jean) Malson of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Scott (Doris) Alexander of Franklin, Mrs. Jerry (Linda) Higgins of Richardson, Tex., and Mrs. Phillip (Judith) Hoopingarner of Florsissant, Mo.; four sons, Robert of Marion, Marvin L. of Valparaiso, Carl E. of St Petersburg, Fla., and Larry W. of Greenfield.
One sister, Mrs. Lewis (Geraldine) Green of Van Buren, one brother, Garl Beal of Marion, 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.
Calling will be after 7 p.m. today at the Thoma-Rich Funeral Home and Saturday until the time the body will be moved to the First Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Donald Crellin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church and burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.
