Marvin L. Brown, 88, of Beverly Shores, formerly of Valparaiso passed away Monday, January 25, 2016. He was born March 8, 1927 to Mahlon and Mildred (Beal) Brown, graduated from Bluffton High Schooland served proudly with the U.S. Army during WW II.Marvin was a member of First Baptist Church, began his career with Premier Supermarket and Sievers Drug Store before concluding his working years at Immanuel Lutheran Church's maintenance department. On December 30, 1947 he married Madilyn Meadows who preceded him in death in 1998. Survivors include their children: Debbie (Mike) Winger of Columbia City, IN, Greg (Caryn) Brown of Beverly Shores, siblings: Doris Alexander of Franklin, IN, Linda (Jerry) Higgins of Plano, TX, Judy (Phil) Hoopingarner of New Haven,IN, Larry (Shirley) Brown of Franklin, IN, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by five siblings: Harold Brown, Robert Brown, Maxine Moser, Helen Schnitz and Bertha Malson. Rev. Carol Nordstrom officiating.
