He worked in the greige room of the former Collins & Aikman, Pen Argyl, until retiring.
Born in Moore Township, he was a son of Alberta M. (Bellis) Bartholomew of Bath and the late Arthur H. Bartholomew.
He was a Lutheran.
Survivors: Mother; son, Edwin P. Jr. of Orefield; daughters, Constance L. of Bath, Nadine A. Butterfield of Ottsville and Monica D. Kehs of Allentown; sister, Geraldine M. Itterly of Penn Argyl; brothers, Luther H. of Brodheadsville and Gerald H. of Bath; companion, Debra Ann Silfies, with whom he resided, and seven grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, George G. Bensing Funeral Home, 2165 Community Drive, Bath. Call noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday."
