Slated Monday
Mrs. Annie Gilliam, 78, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in a Quanah hospital, following a two-month illness.
Mrs. Gilliam was born August 16, 1875, in Kingsport, Tenn. She and her husband, W. T. Gilliam, had lived here since 1949. Mrs. Gilliam was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the Church of Christ, Childress, by E. A. Sanders, assisted by the minister, Harrell Collard.
Interment will be in the Kirkland cemetery under the direction of the Stewart-Carter Funeral Home.
Survivors are her husband, four sons, two daughters, four brothers, one sister, 29 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
