Burke of the Civil War Veterans and Adjutant Rundle of the American Legion, drove to Pin hook Cemetery and decorated the graves of the following Civil War Veterans: Patrick Burke, Tom Callahan, Philip Callahan, Michael O'Connell and Patrick O'Connell, five of the oldest soldiers in Bremer County. Philip Burke is the father of Colonel Burke.
