He is survived by five sons, Namon Whitten of Monroe, Damon Whitten, Davie Whitten, Lillian Whitten and Billie Whitten, all of Start; three daughters, Mrs. Vera Davis of Start, Mrs. Florice Schwartz of Start and Mrs. Bobbie Nell Hollingsworth of West Monroe; one stepson, Clyde Hardwick of Rayville; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Johnnie Hollingsworth of Rayville; three brothers, Mayo Whitten of Ruston, Ezra Whitten of Start and Alonzo Whitten of Bo[r]ger, Tex.
