OBITUARY:

Mrs. Breedlove Claimed By Death

Mrs. Lillis Breedlove, a well-known, highly respected resident of Sullivan, passed away at her home in North State Street this afternoon at 1:25 o'clock, after a lingering illness.

The death of the beloved woman has brought grief and sorrow to a large circle of relatives and friends. Definite funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Mrs. Breedlove is survived by her husband, E.M. Breedlove; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Jones; two grandchildren; a mother, Mrs. Ellen Akers, and three brothers, Roy, Lex and Hud Akers.

The funeral of Mrs. Lillis Breedlove will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Church of Christ in East Jackson Street and will be conducted by Rev. Clevy Lloyd. Burial in Center Ridge Cemetery.

FUNERAL TRIBUTE:

Funeral Tributes Honor Memories

Funeral services, a tribute of love and respect for Mrs. Lillis Breedlove, were held at the Church of Christ in East Jackson Street Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Swaim of the Baptist Church bringing the scripture consolation.

Sacred hymns were sung by John Ward, Clement Chapman, Mrs. Ray Wyman and Mrs. Hettie Wyman and resolutions of sorrow adopted by the Royal Neighbors were read by Mrs. M.L. Pigg.

The pallbearers were members of the Daughters of America, with Lily Brown, Ida Deckard, Verdie Drake, Anna Booker, Martha Deckard and Chloe Sharum acting. Mesdames Frank Cunningham, Clement Chapman, Esther Mason, Betty Templeton, Emma Fisk and Gertrude Ruddell carried the profusion of beautiful floral offerings.

At the grave in Center Ridge Cemetery the Pocahontas Lodge was in charge of the services.
