Always In Our Hearts by Jim Garman 1 Feb 2007

Born in Marysvale, Utah on 12 November, 1924 on 31 January 2007, she entered Heaven's door. Reunited with her husband and her mom and dad, free of her suffering and pain, for that we're glad.

Their family moved to Angle where she lived her childhood out, raised with 4 sisters, but she was the tomboy, without doubt. Her dad used to even call her Tom, since he wanted a son, so down by the stream, they had lots of fun.

She got married on her 20th birthday, in 1944, had 3 sons and 3 daughters who couldn't love her more. She was always there for them, like a great mom should be, as well as the grand and great grandkids of her legacy.

12 grandkids and 14 great-grandkids who loved her so much, she was one in a million, with such a gentle, caring touch A great cook, especially with soup and homemade breads, her kitchen's wonderful aromas always filled our heads.

She loved growing roses, and lilacs too, gardening was something she loved to do. She sewed clothes for her kids, and made quilts alot, when she wasn't busy in the garden spot.

She was called "Granny Grasshopper" in case you didn't know, and her patience went as far as anyone's could ever go. She spent a lot of time canning as well, easy to know, you could tell by the smell.

One of her last comments, "I want to go back to the stream," like she once did with her dad, it was more than her dream. We'll miss seeing her face, and we're sad about being apart, but Mom/Granny will always be in our heart.

Grave side services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Elsinore Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina andGunnison, Utah.
