She was born Oct. 16, 1897 in Prophetstown, Ill.
Her husband, Albert Wiese, whom she married Aug. 14, 1926 in Detroit, died in 1966.
Mrs. Wiese earned a degree in education from Eastern Michigan University in 1924. She worked as a school teacher in Royal Oak in the 1920's, later working as a librarian at the Royal Oak Public Library from 1953 until she retired in 1963. She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ferndale.

her children, Ralph (Marilyn) Wiese of Milford and John (Jane) Wiese of Princeton, N.J.;
sisters, Carrie Staehle of Dublon, Calif., Ruth Ingle of Vallejo, Calif., Grace (Paul) Harbauer of Perrysburg, Ohio and Frances (Don) Ashton of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.;
seven grandchildren;
18 great-grandchildren.
