DIED: It is our painful duty today to chronicle the death of Mr. F. A. Jones, which sad event occurred at his residence near Midville, this county, on Thursday. Mr. Jones was an honest man and one of Burke county's most prominent and most esteemed citizens. He has left a wide circle of friends and realtives to mourn his death. The bereaved family has our sympathies.
