Mr. Hutson was a member of the Dodson Baptist Church, which he attended Sunday. He was a retired railroad employee and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Ray Praeger, pastor of the Dodson Baptist Church, and Rev. Rufus Kitchingham of Monroe, conducting the services. Burial was at Harmony Grove.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Hutson; one daughter, Bonnie Mack Hutson, and one son, John Thomas Hutson, all of Dodson; three brothers, George Hutson of Jena, La., Frank Hutson of Sacramento, Calif., and Mark Hutson of Galveston, Texas; one sister, Mrs. J. E. Jameson of Shreveport.
Pallbearers were Howard Ray French, Karl K. Womack, Dan Waters, J. A. Higgs, Dale Smith, and Kelly Bishop of the Junior-Senior Class of the Dodson High School.
