ABEL CRUM DEAD-----Was Watchmaker and Gunsmith Of Menallen Township.-----
Abel Crum, watchmaker and gunsmith, of Menallen township, died at his home this morning, at 6:30 o'clock, from dropsy of the heart. He was 70 years, one month and one day.
He is survived by his wife and these sons and daughters: Mrs Emory Shetter, Aspers; Mrs. Lizzie Shephard, Bendersville; Mrs. Maurice Hoffman, Harrisburg; Mrs. Benjamin Thomas, Aspers; Emory Crum, Bendersville; George Crum, Gardners R.D.; and Roy, Gardners R.D. Thirty two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive.
He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Crum, of Mt. Tabor, and is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Sylvester Crum, Kansas; Eli Crum, Perry county, this state; Isaiah Crum, Gardners R.D.; Mrs. Jacob Brown, Gardners R.D., and Mrs. John Bowers, Gardners R.D.
Funeral Monday afternoon, meeting at the house at 1 o'clock, with services and interment at Cline's United Brothren church, Mount Tabor, in charge of the Rev. W. I. Kauffman.
