The funeral of Mrs. Almina Stom was held at the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren on Tuesday afternoon in charge of her pastor, Rev. Issac Krider, of the Duncansville Lutheran Church, of which she was a member for many years. Rev. J. E. Skillington of Altoona assisted. The services were largely attended by reltives and friends.

Mrs. Stom resided in this section all her life and was known to nearly everybody. Until only a few weeks ago she was a frequent visitor at this place attending church services and meetings of the Ladies' Aid society, of which she was a leading member. The pastor spoke fittingly regarding the splendid life of the deceased. There were many beautiful floral tributes of respect.

Following the services, interment was made in the family plot in the cemetery adjoining the church.
