Nathaniel Taylor Norwood, a former resident of Nuckolls county, died at Ritchey, Mo., Saturday, June 13 and the body was brought to Edgar for burial. The funeral was held at the Christian church in Edgar at 11 o'clock Thursday morning (June 18th) with Rev. Roy A. Coop in charge.

The deceased was born at Centerville, Iowa December 20, 1854 and came to Nebraska with his two brothers when a young man, settling north of the Blue River, in Nuckolls county. While living in the vicinity of Edgar he was a faithful worked in the Church of Christ.

He leaves to remember his passing, one daughter Lulu, three sons, Jesse, Clifford and Earle, and many other relatives and friends. His wife preceded him in death just five weeks and two days.
