Ivy V. Stewart was a plunger. He had land, copper interests and was one of a group who mapped out the irrigation canal that was supplied by the Roosevelt Dam. He became quite wealthy.

Obit - Survivors - one brother, Cassius Stewart, California and one sister, Mrs. Sarah Martin, La Cygne, Kansas. Mr. Stewart left Miami county, Kansas about forty years ago. He then owned the place that afterwards was sold to James Turner.

He leaves seven sons and daughters, all in California.
