AMARILLO - Funeral services for Iva Russell, 87, who died Wednesday in Amarillo will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Central Baptist Church in Borger with Rev. "Bud" Kidwell, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of N.S. Griggs Funeral Home of Amarillo.
She was born in Marquez and moved to Borger in 1935 where she lived until 1983 when she moved to Amarillo. She was a homemaker.
She was the last surviving charter member of the Borger Central Baptist Church. Her husband, Cecil Oscar Russell, died in 1961 and a son, Rusty Russell, died in 1981.
Survivors include a son, W.C. "Chick" Russell of Amarillo; four sisters, Lady Duren and Euzella Hayes, both of Electra, Vera Hobbs of Odessa, and Oma Lawrence of Irvin; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
