Pauline Schneickert, 90, of Parsons, died at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie T. Schneickert.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 12, 2009, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends immediately following the Rosary.

Pauline Schneickert
Pauline M. Schneickert, 90, of Parsons, died at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
She was born September 21, 1918, to Henry E. and Cecelia (Richard) Sevart, in St. Paul, Kansas, where she grew up and attended school.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its altar society, the Carpenter's Ladies Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed hosting family events and had served as chairwoman of several Sevart bi-annual reunions. Pauline had a beautiful and well cared-for garden, and took great pride in raising various vegetables.
She and Charlie T. Schneickert were married November 30, 1940, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Pauline and "Chick" observed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1990. He preceded her in death on January 17, 1992.
SURVIVORS: One Son – William H. "Bill" Schneickert and wife, Margaret "Meg" Parsons, KS One Daughter – Marguerite "Peggy" Dawson and husband, Thomas Wichita, KS Six Grandchildren – Kathy Chips and husband, Craig Neodesha, KS Chuck Schneickert and wife, Stephanie Mason City, IA Billy Schneickert and wife, Ingrid Parsons, KS Amy Beard & husband, Zephaniah Wichita, KS Kevin Dawson Wichita, KS Chad Dawson Valley Center, KS Seven Great-Grandchildren – Megan, Sarah & Emily Chips; Sydney Schneickert; Alex, Samantha & Ethan Beard One Brother – Harold Sevart Parsons, KS One Sister – Marge Gillespie Merriam, KS
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Gene, Andy, George, Joe and Dick Sevart; one sister, Alfreda Purdon; and one son, Charlie T. Schneickert, Jr.
