DEATH OF HEZEKIAH HUNT.

Notice has been received by his wife of the death of Hezekiah Hunt at the Mt. Pleasant asylum. The body will be shipped to Muscatine for burial. The funeral will likely take place on Thursday afternoon and will be in charge of Shelby Norman Post of which he was a member.

Notice has been received by his wife of the death of Hezekiah Hunt, an old resident of this county, at the insane asylum in Mt. Pleasant. The remains will be shipped to this city for interment. The funeral will be held from the First Presbyterian church Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock.

Notice.

The members of Shelby Norman Post, G. A. R., are requested to assemble at the Post rooms promptly at 1:30 o’clock, Thursday afternoon, to attend in a body the funeral of Comrade Hezekiah Hunt. The services will be held in the Presbyterian church and the Post will conduct the remains from the church to the cemetery.

Mrs. H. Hunt has received the sad news of the death of her husband at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. The remains were brought home and laid to rest in the cemetery this afternoon by his comrades, who wore the blue.

Mr. Hezekiah Hunt, who was placed in the insane asylum at Mt Pleasant some time ago for treatment, with the hope that he might be cured there, died there and was brought home the fore part of the week, and buried on Thursday, under the auspices of the G. A. R. The family in this hour of great grief have the deepest sympathy of neighbors and friends.
