DAVENPORT WOMAN DIES.
Mrs. Virginia McIntosh, Veteran’s Wife, Dead at Home.
Mrs. Virginia McIntosh, who entered the soldiers’ home from Davenport, Aug. 18, 1906, died at 1 o’clock this afternoon at the hospital of cerebral hemorrhage. She was born in Ohio July 4, 1841. Mr. McIntosh, who is a member of the home, served in Company I, Ninth Iowa infantry. Besides her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Jenneta Watkins, of Chicago, and a son, Marshal Hunt, of Belle Plaine, survive her.

A double funeral service was held at the soldiers’ home at 3 o’clock this afternoon for Mrs. Virginia McIntosh, of Davenport, and Mrs. Mary A. Tracy Bartlett, of Valley Junction, members of the home, who died Friday. The service for Joseph Conklin, a member of the home from Iowa City, who died Saturday, will be held at 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in the home cemetery.
