Everett Hall of Bedford, IN, died Monday, September 14, 1998, at Westview Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on November 17, 1913, in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of William Arthur and Emma Bell (Schofield) Hall. He married Eva Hile on July 16, 1949, and she died March 24, 1977.

Surviving are three brothers: Clarence and Lester Hall, both of Bedford, IN, and Howard Hall of Indianapolis; one sister, Clara Raborn of Seymour, IN; and one step-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by six sisters: Altha Hall, Helen Baker, Gladys Hall, Edith Housier, Wilma June Armstrong, and Ethel Miller; and one brother, Lawrence Hall.

He was a railroad worker and a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the European theater. He attended Central Church of Christ.

Services for Everett Hall will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens with graveside military rites accorded by members of American Legion Gillen Post No. 33, Bedford.
