Elizabeth Ann Ivie, was the fifth of eight children of Richard Anderson Ivie and Elizabeth Dobson Ivie. She was born to them November 27, 1858, in Ephraim, Sanpete, Utah. She married Wilson Monroe Allred July 12, 1875. They soon moved to Rabbit Valley (now Loa, Wayne County, Utah). Wilson Monroe's Uncle Andrew Jackson Allred was an early settler. Their first son, Wilson, was born November 26, 1876. They did not stay long in Rabbit Valley. In 1878, their second son, Bird (who later changed his name to Birten), was born February 16, 1878, in Spring City. They lived in Spring City, Utah, where their next eight children were born: Bird (Birten), Lida Louise was born November 15, 1879, Charles Monroe was born October 13, 1881, John Henry was born August 9, 1883, Alice Isadora was born August 21, 1885, Robert Hackley was born January 30, 1888, Delilah Elizabeth was born January 26, 1890, Celestia Arvilla was born, December 22, 1891, and Riley Allred was born September 14, 1893. Byron Thompson was born in Green River, Emery County December 6, 1896, and Ivy Janet Allred was born October 4, 1899, in Price, Carbon County. The family appeared on the 1900 and 1910 Federal Census in Price. On the 1920 Census, Elizabeth Ann Allred, was living with her son, Birten Allred and his family in Moab, Grand County, Utah. On July 1, 1922, she married John R. Babcock, 73, in Castle Gate, Carbon, Utah. She died in Price on January 4, 1927. She is buried next to Wilson Monroe Allred in the Price City Cemetery.Father: Richard Ivey
