Mrs Michels died on Feb 18 while Mr Michels died Feb 24.
Burial services were to be at Riverside Cemetery in Cody, Wyo.
Mrs Michels was born Jan 26, 1908 in Orleans, to Arthur and Grace Pope Garrison. The fifth of nine children, she grew up on a farm in Harlan County. She received a teaching certificate from Kearney State College and taught elementary school in Nebraska for five years.
She married Harvey F. "Mike" Michels on May 20, 1939 in North Platte.
Mr Michels was born on April 15, 1913 to Michel R. Michels and Ottelia R. Coopich, the second of six children. He graduated from Peru State Teachers College and taught science for a number of years in Nebraska and Wyoming.
After the couple married, they moved to Greybull, Wyo., where he was a junior high principal for several years.
The couple did live in Holdrege before moving to Cody, Wyo., where they opened a jewelry store in 1959. They retired from the business in 1976.
In 1966, they moved to Bellingham.
Mrs Michels was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers and sisters.
Mr Michels was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth and sister, Maxine Oerter.
