The former Doris Ragsdale was born in Fuquay Springs, North Carolina December 29, 1918 the daughter of the late Robert and Clara (Thompson) Ragsdale. She married Matthew Hubbard December 25, 1943. He predeceased her July 7, 2004.
Doris Hubbard was a member of Countryside Trinity Church. She enjoyed playing Bridge.
She was survived by two sons, Matthew Hubbard, Jr., Saginaw and Robert (Johanna) Hubbard, Rochester Hills; a granddaughter, Joelle (Jeff) Heussner; a grandson, Matthew (Stephanie) Hubbard; five great-grandchildren, , Matthew John Heussner, Alexandra Paige Heussner, Nicholas Michael Heussner, Taylor Paige Hubbard and Raegan Elizabeth Hubbard; a brother, Billy Ragsdale; two sisters-in law, Mildred Ragsdale and Jeanette Ragsdale; many nephews and nieces, including Karen Megerle and Jackie Ragsdale Seawell.
In addition to her husband, Doris was predeceased by five brothers, Robert Ragsdale, Thompson Ragsdale, Jack Ragsdale, Simon Ragsdale and Floyd Ragsdale.
Funeral: W. L. Case & Company, with the Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
