Mr. Alspach was born in Indiana in 1887, and came to Oklahoma in 1910. He lived with his brother (Orville) Floyd Alspach and his wife Mary in Nowata. He married Laura Eva Beekman October 29, 1910 in Huntington, Indiana. Several years ago he worked in the oil fields around Skiatook and Avant. After retirement, he moved to Delaware. He had been ill for the past few months and passed away Saturday, September 3rd.
Survivors are two sons and three daughters, Howard Alspach, Chanute, Kans.; Floyd Everett Alspach, Delaware; Irene Highfield, Delaware; Rachel Deal Goetz, Wichita, Kansas; Patricia Marie Alspach, Wichita, Kansas.; two brothers, Orville Alspach, St. Louis, Mo.; John Alspach, Indiana; Floyd Alspach of Illinois and fourteen grandchildren.
His son, Floyd Everett Alspach, is the father of Carolyn Kaye, who is my mother.
