Patricia Marie Polly, 78, of Niceville, Fla., went to Heaven on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011.

Patricia was born Aug. 16, 1932, in Avant, Oklahoma, to Clyde and Eva Beekman Alspach. IN 1952 she married Robert T. Polly and they moved to Niceville in 1957. In the 1960's she was the cafeteria manager at Niceville High School. Patricia was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Niceville. While she was able, she loved to volunteer and help the Gang Rescue mission in Milton, Fla. She loved all the girls. She felt the calling to lead them to Christ.

Patricia was never one to be idle; her beautiful yard was loaded with flowers, her love of creating art with glass and her latest endeavor, beaded art work. For many years Pat and Bob had Polly's Concrete Products on Highway 20, near Seminole.

Patricia was the ultimate mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. If you knew her you would know that she got the most pleasure when her home was filled with the sounds of laughter from all of her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by five children, Judy her husband, Tom, Janice, Jackie her husband, Ron, Bobby his wife, Lorrie, and Sherrie and husband, Mike. Patricia is also survived by nine grandchildren, Tommy, Kenny, Steven, Rhonda, Christina, Angel, Kristie, Samantha, and her favorite, Vance; and 24 great-grandchildren, Zack, Michael, Jerremy, Trevor, Alex, Kaytlyn, Starla, Tyler, Randall, Cheyenne, Hunter, Jimmy, Jason, Sarah, Kayleah, Jacquelyn, Jaide, Brittany, Maile, Cara, Leah, Erica, Erin and Luke.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, April 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Niceville, 622 Bayshore Drive, Niceville.

Services will be held on Friday, April 29, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Niceville, 622 Bayshore Drive, Niceville. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso, Fla.
